Porcellio Scaber - "Lemonade"

Porcellio Scaber "Lemonade" is a variation of the "calico". They feature a speckled pattern of orange, black and yellow. They are fast moving and fast breeding species of isopod and are serve well as the occasional snack for your vivarium inhabitant as well as a great janitor. They are a medium sized isopod reaching approximately .70" at full adult size.

We make a great cleanup crew for your vivarium and even the occasional snack for it's inhabitant! We breed readily and easily and tend to cluster under pieces of bark and moss. Our ideal temperature range is 64 F up to 75 F!
Like other species of isopod, we enjoy leaves and other organic material to break down but also enjoy some variety in our diets. Consider supplementing our diets with fish flakes, cuttlebone, zucchini, sweet potatoes, and commercially available bug diets! Please make sure that our homes don't ever dry out! Make sure our enclosure retains higher amounts of humidity and always keep a corner of our enclosure with a wet portion of spaghnum moss!

- Temperatures greater than 80 Degrees Fahrenheit (Origin and Destination)

We care about your new insects having a safe journey to their new homes. For this reason, we are unable to ship our insects with any shipping option less than FedEx 2-Day Priority Mail and do not offer economy shipping.
